Some Photos of what awaits you!

Welcome to Capt. Greg Brown's Everglades

You are invited you to set out on a unique exploration of Florida's famous "Last Frontier" the Florida Everglades. Capt. Brown is very excited to be able to offer all of his guests the alternative experience to your typical vacation attraction. A Florida Everglades Airboat ride will take you back to nature, where only Indians and traders could be found in the early 1900's. Perhaps you will choose a day of Everglades fishing or bird watching and gator gazing! Capt. Greg's Everglades tours offer escapes of many different varieties. He knows you will leave his beloved 'Glades with a new understanding and appreciation of the natural environment.

What to Expect

Capt. Greg Brown will be your host and guide on an Everglades Airboat Tour of a lifetime. Your "Flight" will allow you to see nature at its purest in the unspoiled habitat of the Beautiful Florida Everglades. This unspoiled River of Grass, sawgrass scattered with tree islands, makes up most of the interior of the Florida Everglades. The open marshes are flooded during the summer, rainy season, but are dryer in the late winter and spring. Here and there over the 'glades are ponds and deeper channels that hold permanent water. The smaller pools are often refered to as "gator holes" and the larger drainage channels are called "sloughs". The sloughs and gator holes provide dry season refuges for fish, snails and crayfish and are often focal points for winter concentrations of alligators, birds and mammals.

Dan Brown in command of the second boat. Capt. Dan Brown in fully trained by his Dad and Coast Guard Licensed as a Captain. Everglades Ecology

Natures soup of life and evolution, the fragile Florida Everglades is threatened by today's Industry and Technology. Capt. Greg will be more than happy to explain and show you the many dangers the Everglades faces today and the many wonders which must be preserved and protected for future generations.

A very knowledgeable Florida Everglades Historian and experienced Story Teller, Capt. Greg will amaze you with the history of the Native American Indians who inhabited these wetlands areas over a century ago and of those who live there today.
